About my paintings:

concerned with inner mechanics

With inner mechanics I mean the own explanatory statement, why one acts like one does, what one does etc. It can be something what one takes for given, a strategy and it’s explanatory statement, a position in which one sees oneself etc. It is the question which answer begins with … ,because ….

Expression – inner mechanics

It’s not one expression on the basis of which I conclude to an inner logic. It’s one expression, which makes me curious, but I need more or I search for more expressions for generating an inner mechanic. My purpose is not to find out the real inner mechanic of a person for this expression but to find a coherent inner mechanic which clarifies the expressions. I also read / watch / listen to or think of books / articles / statement / films / music based on which mechanic this expressions are coherent reasoned. After / While I generated an inner mechanic for the expressions, I adopt that inner mechanic for a while for myself and I support it with my own memories, which strengthen this mechanic.

concern – painting – way of painting

If I look at abstract paintings, often the stories of the single paintings are of minor importance for me than the continuous concept – which gets visible through the artists way of painting. In the artists way of painting one of the most important mechanics of the person is readable. In my paintings, I always change the way of painting. That’s how I convey the logics.

Painted metaphor

My paintings consist of metaphors for the inner logic and the expressions I need to convey the mechanic. I get the metaphor out of life, something which makes sense with the observed.

Painting tools

By painting tools I mean form, color, line etc. I’m painting in this sense abstract, that I filter and portray the logics and expressions with wich I’m concerned with in an abstract way. My painting tool which I chose for one painting just have a meaning, when they are seen with their referrence among each other. It’s just about the referrences. Solely one element is meaningless – except the monochromy has a meaning in itself.

Other painting practices

To paint helps me to think. So I also paint paintings which are like notes. Sometimes I also write notes on the painted notes.
